So what do we actually do?

All construction jobs will start with pretty much the same thing:

Site Clearing, Preparation and Levelling as well as Landscape Preparation, Turf and Soil Removal and Retaining Walls Excavation.

This vitally important first step may include clearing any trees and plants that are filling the space. Make sure you tell us if we have to work around any mature trees you want to keep! It also includes cutting or filling to create the kind of ground profile you’re looking for, especially if this is the first part of a landscaping project. We may have to clear away the debris from previous buildings. It also includes the removal of contaminated material, and filling and compaction of low areas with certification ready for the construction work to begin. Often, in landscaping projects, we’re called on to excavate existing retaining walls so that a whole new and exciting landscape design can be created. We also do perfect Backyard Clear-out as well as Remedial Building Excavations.

A solid Foundation is the most important part of any project. There needs to be more than just a hole in the ground. You need properly compacted soil and appropriate sloping and water runoff mitigation. If you don’t, then natural settling or weather elements will ruin your new building.
